Primary is quite simple at first glance.

Simply avoid the on coming primary color squares. Seems simple, and it is in the beginning. The longer you survive the faster the primary colored squares come.

Collect the hourglasses to give yourself a little breather. The game will slow down for a few seconds just long enough to catch your breath.
